Wow. Incredible six weeks lay behind us. From the tropical rainforests of Queensland, to the dry and red earth of the outback, we have crossed climate and time zones in Australia. We’ve seen crazy animals, camped in the most beautiful remote places, and identified the Southern Cross on the nightly sky. Two rental cars and 8655 km later, we feel like we have seen a lot, but not nearly enough. Instead, we got loads of ideas what we would do on our next trip to this continent. So when the plane took off and the city lights of Perth disappeared in the darkness, we both had a distinct feeling we’ll be back here again sometime in the future.
