Late afternoon at the Victoria Memorial, Calcutta. It’s one of the biggest colonial monuments in Calcutta. The British inaugurated it in 1921 as a tribute to the success of the British Empire in India, and dedicated it to Victoria, the Queen of the United Kingdom and Empress of India.
